Star Wars BattleFront For Nintendo Wii, What One Though?

It has been revealed through IGN podcast that Free Radical will be developing a Wii version of Star Wars Battlefront.

It is unknown whether this will be in fact Battlefront 3 or if Lucasarts will be giving us a spin off title which previous publishers and developers have done with the Nintendo Wii.

No other details have been released.

But is this something we should be excited for?

if it isnt someones going to pay

but it should be good because Free Radical made the awesome Timesplitters series

now if only they could make a Timesplitters game for the wii

and Free Radical is made up of employees from the Rare we all know and love

Battlefront 2 for the PS2 was great...plus the game is pretty basic so
it cant be too hard to mess up..i mean thay dont really even have to come up with a story. Starwars + wii = FUN

Battlefron t 2 is easily one of m favourite games on PS2. im looking forward to this wii version. i hope that it is battlfront 3, but whatever it is i really hope they add more to the space fighting combat...it could be really fun with the wii remote.

I have Battlefront 2 for PC and I must say it is one of the best games I've ever played. I've probably spent more hours playing it than any other game I own.

Hopefully there will be motionplus compatibility for heroes

OMG!!!!! THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!

And (hopefully) with MotionPlus compatibility!!!!! And hopefully it comes with fully interactive and destructible environments!

How awesome would that be, cutting a tree with your lightsaber to kill your enemies? I hope they put those two in. AND ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for this one. I just hope it doesn't suck.
