I think this is one of the key problems, that people don't prioritse correctly. And I'm talking about the world as a whole here.

9/11 = few thousand people dead (something around there). Yet a Tsunami can wipe out hundreds of thousands, if not more, and most people don't even give it any thought, yet to this day that day still is in everyone's mind. Don't tell me it's the symbol of terrorism, because you can say the same about dying kids in Africa.

I think one of the most interesting ones I found would be Oil Prices.

You look at oil prices, people bitching about how much oil costs. Oil is incredibly powerful, and still bloody cheap.

You go into the servo, and they sell a 1 litre water bottle for $3. That's twice the price of oil, and last time I checked our bodies don't run on oil.

Are you sick of playing for nothing? You want some real excitement? Race for the ultimate prize, the Master Cup!

So how does it work?

7 Grand prix's will be played, in each there will be 8 racers participating. The top 4 in each grand-prix will advance to the next round. In total there will be 32 racers participating in the tournament.

 •  The Blue Boxes represent the Rounds 1-4
 •  The Green Boxes represent the Semi-Finals
 •  The Red Box represents the Final

eg. The top 4 in Round 1 will play the top 4 of Round 2 in SF1.

Rules?

There are no rules, so the races will be played exactly how they are meant to be.

Who will be hosting the matches?

For now I'll be hosting them, but I might get others who are actually participating in the races to host. It's basically a list of many video game characters each with 5 points and each post in the thread someone copies the previous list posted and takes a point away from a character and adds a point to a character, when a character reaches 0 they are taken out of the list.

e.g.

I Take 1 from Mario and give 1 to Ike
