yes they do alot of site on the internet say they do...but dont go into detail about it....and on the 360 website they said they did.

i was in EB once and someone asked about lay-by and the lady said no sorry we only do pre-order and that is when items are not in stock

actually some stores do layby i should know since i put a wii layby even though it was in stock
i emailed them beforehand coz i looked at the website and was wondering and they said not all of them do layby

I know the EB near me layby (werribee). I asked them once if I could put something on layby and they said that was OK....
The only thing you can't layby is consoles. A family (of bogans) was in line line infront of me and they kept asking stupid questions like, can we get a X-Box-300-and-60 but without the games, but of course they came free at the time....they took forever, but then they asked a valid question that was if they could layby one. EB said that they can't because it takes up too much room out the back, which is fair enough.
It might just depend from store to store
