Final Fantasy III to hit VC in July

July looks to be a rather eventless month for the Virtual Console, with less games than weeks scheduled for release. With only 3 schedules games for the download service, I'm sure all the players will be hoping for these games to be a good play due to the lack of variety coming.

One of these games is another port of the Final Fantasy series, brought to the VC by Square (previously Square Enix).

The title was originally released in 1990 for the Famicom, and has lately been ported to the Nintendo DS, and will now be making an appearance on the virtual console in all it's 8-bit purity and glory.

Due to the lack of variety coming next month on the Virtual Console, we're all hoping this game is enough to keep us busy until August, where we are hopefuly for some more scheduled releases.

Yeah, it's a shame, but obviously bringing them out individually is going to get more for Nintendo while still being relatively cheap for the player, so if 6 is to make an appearance we will see it on it's own later on/

I played it on DS until I beat Medusa, and got the other classes, then it just got a little to complicated. I could'nt even remember what the plot was about.

I have the DS remake as well, but stopped playing after I had to go onto the top of the mountain and kill the dragon. Then I got lost in some new wii games and stopped. D:

Might have to get this and make up for it. 8D
