(03)97309822. I just called and ordered mine this morning. She did tell me i would have to supply my own Ethernet cable though.
Im going to have to disconnect my modem from my laptop and bring it into the lounge when ever i want to use it.

Rather than order this from Nintendo, could you use something like this, for example,

It's obviously the same sort of thing, but is this more expensive, or the official Nintendo one more? Would this work? This one on dick smith's $49. It's a shame I don't have wireless, although my Wii seems to be picking up a connection from somewhere, I have no idea what the little password to enter the connection is

Umm, it's good for people that don't have wireless... and it has the potential for supporting faster internet... I'm on 24mbs connection - which is still lower then my wireless speed I suppose, but I think its a good idea regardless.

yeah this is good, i tried the wireless one but it gave me too many Error Codes, this one is just simple, plug it in the wii, plug the Ethernet adapter into the modem and your online! Also if the Ethernet cable they give you is too small you have to buy a longer one.

I find the Wifi USB much easier to use i use it and its fine. I was going to get this but i had a problem of finding it so i waited and saved up for the USB which i think was a better idea than buying the lan adapter.

There is a lot of questions about how it works, and also about signal and speed.

To make it easy, this is an item for people that do not have a wireless connection in their home, but have a standard WIRED modem / router.

It works as a networks card for the Wii, that plugs into the USB port at the back.

It will be heaps faster then any WIFI connection, but that is not a reason to get it in the first place, as you do not need more then 54mbps to play any game that exists on the Wii.

The only place left to find one now is to order it directly from Nintendo Customer Service on (03) 9730 9822 between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday (EST).

had a problem with lag on wireless so i bought one. however, i didn't get the official nintendo brand, just some cheapsy one from china that has 'Wii' written on it, and now i struggle to even connect. when i finally do connect, it ALWAYS disconnects me halfway through a match. i have yet to complete a match with the wireless connection.
